The Federal Government recently announced that the new Aged Care Act 2024 and Support at Home program will be deferred from July 1 to November 1, 2025.
What do I need to know?
Your current Home Care Package will continue until October 31, 2025, before it automatically transitions to the Support at Home program on November 1. Recipients will be funded at equivalent levels to their existing Home Care Packages, and aligned to the new legislated program rules.
What do I need to do?
There’s nothing you need to do. Your package will continue as usual and we will stay in touch with updates and more information.
