Jubilee’s 2019 awards wrap

In October we shared the news that Jubilee was in the running for a number of state and national awards in late 2019 after celebrating some wins earlier in the year. The functions have passed but unfortunately Jubilee was not successful in picking up any more awards.

So Jubilee finished 2019 having won the Team Category at Leading Age Services Australia’s Excellence in Age Care Awards (Queensland), missing out on the national award. It also was named one of five state finalists in the Social Change Maker category of the Telstra Business Awards.

While the year did not end as Jubilee had hoped, it has given the organisation the chance to showcase the passion and dedication of its staff and celebrate its success over the past 30 years.

“We have long known it but 2019 sealed for Jubilee that our work is recognised and respected by the aged care industry,” director Shaun Riley said. “These wonderful achievements are recognition of the work of our staff and that of past employees. We are all very proud of our history and of our success in 2019.”
