For more than 30 years Jubilee Community Care has provided professional and respected care to the elderly in their homes. And that is set to continue for many years to come. But at Jubilee we recognise that times, as Bob Dylan says, the times they are a-changin’! And so we have introduced a suite of online services to complement the care Jubilee’s wonderful support workers offer in-person.
Jubilee has partnered with respected local businesses to bring you engaging educational services based around topics of interest to seniors. All of the services are designed to keep you active and healthy, and to improve your general sense of wellbeing. They are also a great way to stay connected in your community with the chance to grow new friendships.
All you need to take part is a computer, tablet or smartphone. Once you have registered for a service you will be emailed all of the details you need to take part in the online sessions. These services are open to both Jubilee Community Care clients as well as seniors in the community. And seniors on Home Care Packages can use their funds to cover the costs of the programs if they choose.
The number and variety of online services is expected to grow in the coming months so keep an eye out for new offerings.
