Jubilee Community Care is expanding its Stay Standing program, the only accredited falls-prevention program in Australia. This eight-week course has been specially designed to be results driven and focuses on strategies to help reduce the risk of falls, giving you more confidence to keep living the way you want to. It includes a home program of exercises based on the Otago Exercise Program.
The program consists of group sessions held on a Friday over eight weeks for 2.5 to 3 hours depending on the presentation. It includes structured exercises to improve strength and balance, and presentations from allied health specialists as well as a delicious morning tea.
You will have an assessment in the first and last weeks so that you can see how you’ve improved with the knowledge that you gain during this course. Don’t let the fear of falling hold you back! Stay Standing with us!
