Have you ever loved writing but want to learn how to better develop a narrative or write your memoirs?
Jubilee is hosting two writing programs in April with author and arts therapist Fiona Ware.
Fiona encourages people to unleash their creativity and start writing about their lives as a powerful tool to acknowledge who we are, where we have come from and what we’ve learnt along the way.
“As an experienced educator, I know that all activities that seniors participate in have the potential to be therapeutic, not just recreational,” Fiona said of the program for seniors.
“Older people are a fountain of wisdom, experience, and advice. We use this to help them share their story, enrich their lives and feel reconnected again.”
A course for participants new to the program will be run online each Wednesday from April 7 to May 26. This includes seniors in the wider community, not just Jubilee clients.
Existing participants can continue in a second course on Mondays from April 12 to June 14.
You will need access to a computer/tablet and internet, but only basic computer knowledge is required. To register for the workshops phone Vicki at Jubilee on 3871 3220.
