Jubilee Community Care hosts free aged care forums in Brisbane’s west

Jubilee Community Care will continue its free forums in 2018, educating clients and the public on information that will be of benefit to daily living and long-term planning. Two forums are coming up – one on January 18 and a second on February 22. Morning tea will be provided at both forums. We encourage you to invite friends you think may be interested.

Jubilee and the Public Trustee of Queensland will provide information on how to access government-subsidised aged care and the role of the Public Trustee in later years. Find out how to receive aged care services in your home to help you live independently as well as information surrounding wills, enduring powers of attorney and more.

The forum will be held from 9.30am at Jindalee Bowls Club, Sinnamon Rd, Jindalee. To RSVP phone Jubilee by January 12 on 3871 3220.

Guests from LifeTec, Think Mobility and the Queensland Police will speak alongside Jubilee director Shaun Riley. LifeTec representatives will present information on assistive devices and technology while Queensland Police Sergeant José Sarmiento will talk on crime prevention. Think Mobility personnel will provide information on mobility aids and devices to help you maintain independence.

The forum will be at Western Districts Rugby Football Club, Sylvan Rd, Toowong from 9.30am. To RSVP phone Jubilee by February 15 on 3871 3220.
