Festive season fun across the city

Christmas is a time of joyful events with family and friends including fireworks, Christmas tree lights, animated projection shows, the annual Christmas parade, handmade markets, and carols.  And with many events and entertainment around the city being free, this is the time to get into the spirit.

Seniors are invited to the Lord Mayor’s Seniors Christmas Parties, each event featuring a high tea with sing-along Christmas songs by local entertainers. There will be two events a day at 10am and 1.30pm from December 3-7 at City Hall.

Tickets are $5 which includes a donation to the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust. Bookings are a must and tickets are now available at qtix.com.au or by phoning QTIX on 13 62 46. Tickets can also be bought at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre box office. Or, they are available at the Brisbane City Hall box office on event days but are subject to availability. Note, mobility requests cannot be accommodated online and are only possible by phoning QTIX on 13 62 46.
